CommonHealth – Membership Application Form

Membership is extended to organizations and individuals that agree with the mission and objectives of the coalition and are, or intend to be, active in promoting or supporting its work. Members will benefit from contributing to and learning from other coalition members. Individual members do not need to have the formal backing of their organization, but organizations must designate a contact person.

Benefits of CommonHealth membership

• Get an opportunity to interact with and learn from experts in the field of sexual and reproductive health and rights.
• Receive peer-support for initiatives related to CommonHealth’s thematic areas.
• Be part of projects and activities with like-minded organizations and individuals.
• Get involved as a resource person or mentor for select projects.
• Represent CommonHealth on various platforms.
• Be eligible to become a steering committee member.
• Gain access to CommonHealth Google group list service, for regular posting on research, news, announcements etc.
• Interact with other members on relevant issues through an interactive social media group.

Responsibilities of CommonHealth members

Contribute to furthering CommonHealth’s goals.
Attend meetings organized by CommonHealth to share ground realities and to make connections with the macro issues.
Actively participate in CommonHealth activities such as developing documents, training, research etc.
Share resources on maternal health and safe abortion with other members through the list serv.
Represent CommonHealth at other forums/ meetings and convey the information to members.
Implement CommonHealth’s strategic plan by:
Identifying areas (thematic/geographic) where CommonHealth can collaborate or work with other partners/organizations.
